Nicola Gallizia
Nicola Gallizia
Getting his inspirations from the Milanese style as it is part of his roots, upbringing and identity.
Nicola loves geometric shapes, simple angles and linear compositions, he focuses on the richness of the materials in order to give a strong identity to his works.

His favourite palette ranges between neutral colours (shades of brown, brass, grey, earth tones), despite this however he has always shown a clear passion to play with hues, mainly as a way to emphasise his concept. His works are conspicuous in the world of design, namely the interiors of many luxury hotels, where his attention to the details and the story-telling behind each project is so unique that makes his works stand out from the crowd.

Federico Salesi
Creazioni salesi was born shortly before 2020, in a historical period in marked by the fear of insisting and experimenting. Federico Salesi, founder and craftsman of the Brand, faced this particular challenge animated with the desire to be able to do something for our planet. Creazioni Salesi focuses on the recovery of waste of already treated and tanned leather and creates jewels and accessories turning them into unique works of art, handcrafted and strictly made in Italy. Behind each item there is an attentive quest for inspiration, from the rose windows of Gothic churches to Baroque pediments, that end up in a jewel, such as necklaces, becoming ornaments to be worn on the skin. They take on more eccentric shapes when a single decoration element, such as the “Giummo”, is adapted, enlarged and developed in different ways, from pendants to harnesses that seem to float around the body. Brushed calfskin, nubuck, exotic leather, lamb and cowhide are just some of the types of leather that Federico and his team recover from companies in the sector but also from unused clothing or furniture remnants. Sustainability lies at the basis of this project, which sees as a key point recovering more material from each single piece to create exclusive accessories, but also optimizing waste by fully supporting the recycling process. In order to respect of the environment, the use of chemical glues is avoided favouring instead hand-sewn products. For this reason, Creazioni Salesi boasts a unique level of craftsmanship that cannot be mass-produced. Being a leather goods or fashion enthusiast is only a small part of living a sensory experience that the brand brings to life through its jewels. The lightness of the leather, the scent it gives off and the sound of metal rings release vibrations of well-being, creating a cosmic balance between us and the earth.

Rino Dalosio
In 1980 I set up my artistic activity, as I like to define it. Since I was young, I have always expressed interest and passion for art, by incessantly experimenting with the various painting techniques. In my work, I have ranged from oil on canvas, to pictorial restoration, to frescoes with the use of natural earths, mineral pigments, up to innovative products, such as mica-based pearlescent powder pigments. Over the years, I have become a specialist in the field of art resins, to customize environments and cast new light and perspective to emotions. My interest in this material has grown along with my experimentations, discovering its versatility and the possibility of testing new elements that could be added as dyes and textures. I really love resin, since it is able to create flashes of light and colour that keep unchanged the dynamism and the impact of the moment in which they are made. When you work with resin you have the impression of taming or shaping the material which, combined with chromatic emotion, is aimed at the search for harmony We can say that with resin you learn something with every item you produce.

Officine Saffi Lab’s makers
Officine Saffi Lab is a leading platform dedicated to the creative investigation of ceramic production, collaborating with an extended network of local and international experts from the field. Foregrounding collaboration and co-creation, we connect artists, designers and brands with the ceramic culture. We draw upon Italy’s ancient tradition, while refining international techniques and processes. We fire at high and low temperatures; are skilled in making large-scale, multidimensional projects; and our ongoing research around raw materials has led us to develop hundreds of recipes for our own one-of-a-kind glazes. Our approach is purpose-built for today’s interdisciplinary and cross-cultural environment, combining research and experimentation with professional savvy. With over ten years of experience making, producing, and promoting ceramics, our dynamic team of creatives has the knowledge and enthusiasm to bring complex projects to life. We’re bold, uncompromising, and ready to embrace ambitious visions. We aim to promote and employ a whole gamut of environmentally sustainable craft practices such as reclaiming, reusing, and recycling directly in the studio, as well as firing at low temperatures when possible. What’s more ceramics is in itself sustainable with mineral bodies that are sourced from the earth that, when fired, create objects that last a lifetime or longer. We are a team of young and energetic artisans, passionate about what we do. While the past inspires us, what drives us is the search for new horizons.
